JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Residential Client Supervisor (RCS) reports to the Program Director and is responsible for the supervision and monitoring of clients in a corrections-affiliated residential program.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide supervision and monitoring of residents, during shifts.
  2. Ensure that residents comply with schedules.
  3. Make written notes to document client behavior as per contract requirements for the program.
  4. Document rounds, counts, and inspections on appropriate forms.
  5. Answer the telephone and the door/gate.
  6. Detect and implement appropriate disciplinary reports and actions on employee/client misbehavior and rule violations.
  7. Perform other resident monitoring activities such as operating surveillance equipment.
  8. Perform some filing and other general office duties. Maintains essential paperwork for daily functions. Conducts intakes, audits, status alerts, incident reports, etc.
  9. Perform routine janitorial duties as needed.
  10. Perform client urine sample collection, room, personal, and vehicle searches as scheduled.
  11. Prepares monthly staff work schedules.
  12. May assist in performing mandatory monthly RCS training.
  13. Perform internal audits on all RCS paperwork.
  14. Order, stock, and maintain facility house supplies.
  15. Thinks and acts quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  16. Report all crisis issues related to facility operations and RCS staffing to Program Director immediately.
  17. Will drive on Agency business.
  18. Physical presence at the program is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  1. High school diploma or GED, and three years of experience working with a Criminal Justice Population.
  2. Current certified training in emergency first aid procedures and CPR preferred.
  3. Able to work effectively and professionally with program clients and co-workers.
  4. Able to detect and report resident rule violations as they occur.
  5. Legibly, accurately and appropriately document communications, behaviors and routine facility events as they occur.
  6. Count and record census in the log.
  7. Visually observe inmate population.
  8. Perform routine pat down searches of inmates.
  9. Perform perimeter and room checks.
  10. Visually observe the giving of urine for testing.
  11. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  12. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
  13. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  14. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, general physical, and TB test.
