WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Lead Professional, Wings, Global Jordan that is passionate about the Jordan Brand and ready to join our dynamic team in pioneering impactful initiatives that resonate with our consumer and empower the next generation to fly. You'll play a key role in developing and leading strategic plans that advance our Brand's Purpose strategy and inspire positive change.
As a member of the Global Communications and Purpose team, you will be responsible for driving highly innovative and impactful work that supports Wings Initiative. Cultivating a collaborative environment across the team and fostering effective partnerships is a must. This role will require a global mentality, strong strategic instincts, exceptional relationship skills, and be able to handle ambiguity to work across diverse teams to execute flawlessly. You value differences and have experience influencing best practices that collectively drive high-impact results. This role requires experience working closely with internal and external partners bringing to life new ideas, ways of engaging and up-leveling the Purpose connectivity across the enterprise.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
In this role, you will accelerate, enrich, creatively implement and/or support the Global Purpose strategy by:

  • Increasing awareness, understanding, and engagement of the Wings Initiative journey across all geographies.
  • Developing and driving innovative Purpose priorities tied to overall Brand's strategy.
  • Leading comprehensive partner relationship management for North America, fostering strong collaborations and driving brand objectives.
  • Orchestrate seamless program execution, including budget management, annual grant processing, quarterly reporting, and seasonal product buy/ shipping management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, execute, and measure impactful community Brand events in key cities.
  • Developing and leading employee engagement strategies rooted in Wings programming.
  • Partnering with Global Communications teams to help drive Purpose narrative through breakthrough storytelling.
  • Managing partner organizations and agency relationships, and other external partners streamlining Wings programming needs.
  • Providing overall communications support, including internal Brand meetings, event recaps, messaging grids, newsletters and/or social posts, and developing presentations and others Wings program assets.
  • Further advancing our Wings priorities through content and engagement strategies that celebrate our legacy, elevate our accomplishments, and bring to life our Purpose.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role reports to the Global Purpose Director, Wings based in Beaverton, OR.
As part of the Purpose team, you'll work closely with Global Communications, collaborate across a matrix organization (Jordan, Nike, and Converse) with internal cross-functional partners including Brand Marketing, Design, Digital, Merchandising, Finance, Legal, Sports Marketing, Integrated Retail Marketing teams to ensure Wings programs are properly integrated and implemented.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related subject area. Professional experience in corporate, agency, and/ or nonprofit organization roles.
  • 4+ years in community program management, employee resource groups, or related fields.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, including meeting facilitation and presentations, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Comfortable exploring innovative ways and strong professional agility.
  • Expertise in the Social and Community Impact space from contracts to grant management.
  • Strategic problem solver with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Background and experience supporting global brands with a strong preference for an emphasis on social and community impact, culture, and sport are beneficial.
  • An ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/ Keynote, SAP
