The University Relations/Talent Engagement Manager position is responsible for developing and managing, executing strategies alignment with the overall US Talent Engagement Strategy. Joining together programs and strategies from our various US sites into a comprehensive plan and reporting on progress is a key deliverable of this role. Key focus areas include the US Intern Program, Diversity Outreach and Early Career program strategy. The University Relations/Talent Engagement Manager will work closely with head of US Talent Engagement, TA Leadership, business leaders and the respective HR Business Partner to ensure full alignment of the business strategies and talent acquisition efforts.

Role and responsibilities

The successful University Relations/Talent Engagement Manager will bring a balance of strategic and operational recruiting and outreach excellence on a daily basis, including but not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee US Intern Program. Establish a consistent framework and vision for the intern program which includes all aspects of onboarding, conversion and offboarding of the program. Manage relationship external payroll provider. Work with the local program managers to ensure consistency while flexing to local needs. Establish and report out on program KPI.
  • Develop and implement a robust diversity engagement strategy to include target schools and strategic organizations as part of diversity talent outreach strategy. Align with Diversity & Inclusion team, business leaders and HR and TA Business Partners on engagement plan, roles and responsibilities and success criteria.
  • Develop program management structure to partner with internal customers, partners and stakeholders, drive and organize the development of hiring and onboarding programs for entry-level hires.
  • Manage and provide direction to program coordinators.
  • Manage internal UR operations including but not limited to vendor management, event planning and logistics, participant training.
  • Build collaborative relationships with UR Program Managers, TA Leaders, HR Business Partners Diversity and Inclusion and Business Leaders to team to develop and implement programs and strategies.
  • Align with key stakeholders on success criteria and metrics and establish reporting cadence and method.
  • Act as a Talent Engagement subject matter expert to business stakeholders – advise and consult on outreach strategies, market dynamics, branding/marketing activities and best practices.
  • Using technology to your benefit, leverage our CRM and other tools as enablers in tracking your talent communities.
  • Challenging the status quo when it comes to making talent outreach efforts more effective and efficient – process, technology, etc.
  • Willing to travel to represent ASML and or manage events and activities, as appropriate.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in talent acquisition and/or outreach & communications with ideally a minimum of five (5) years in a corporate talent outreach environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing programs and outreach events and activities.
  • Experience in collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget.
  • Experience in communicating strategy, gaining buy-in from business stakeholders, and reporting results/impact.
  • Experience in managing people to include providing direction, guidance, feedback and support while establishing a team culture of accountability and collaboration.

  • This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT or Chandler, AZ. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
