- Participate in identification of work scope risks, including development and implementation of risk mitigations.
- Support conceptual, FEED Studies, and detailed design.
- Assist in identification and development of Discipline Engineering Technical Guidelines and other general support.
- Control and monitor interfaces within scope of work of the departments and subcontractors during execution of the project work.
- Responsible for technical integrity, timeliness and budget of project engineering activities and temporary works associated with the scope of work.
- Interface with TechnipFMC I & C, SURF Operations and Subsea Services Departments to ensure that designs and procedures meet installation requirements.
- Provides support to I & C Department during identification and/or design of installation aids and non-pressure containing equipment for mobilization / installation activities.
- Responsible for reviewing / approving engineering deliverables produced by I & C Department for the project and for field support and execution
- Coordinates mobilization/demobilization and onsite/offshore support ensuring oversight of relevant fabrication, testing and installation activities
Skills Requirements
- Understanding of Subsea Umbilical’s, Risers, and Flowline (SURF) infrastructure with general awareness of SPS (Subsea Production Systems).
- General knowledge of the sub-disciplines within Package Management (Rigid, Umbilical, Diving / Pull in and Loadouts) is desired.
- Ability to be a leader, to direct and provide guidance to team members.
- Passion for and experience in people development and mentorship
- Experience in resource allocation and planning with the ability to prioritize workloads and to define/maintain cost basis and schedules.
- Has proven strengths in diverse and multi-cultural environments. Must have the ability to adapt, to establish and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
- Must have proven communications skills with the ability to tailor messaging to multiple types of audiences to include technical and non-technical, internal and external clients, vendors, and leadership. Communication in this context includes but is not limited to verbal, presentation, digital, and body language.
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent (Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-training (EIT) preferred).
- Greater than 8 years of experience in offshore/subsea industry with particular emphasis in SURF installation, package management, interface engineering, and platform operations, including experience in leadership positions.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC, passport, working visa(s) and medical certs such as BOSIET and OGUK.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $121,000.00 per year
