Job Description
Our Lead Medical Assistantis responsible for overseeing the clinical back-office staff. They are to provide safe, knowledgeable, professional care to all patients under the direction of provider and within their scope of practice.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
What You'll Do:
- Ensure clinic flow of back office allows for excellent patient care and experience.
- Delegate tasks amongst MA staff, also perform all MA duties as needed.
- Schedule MA staff in accordance to provider schedule and patient need.
- Ensure To-Dos, patient inquiries and provider questions are attended to in a timely manner.
- Complete inventory audit and ordering on regular basis.
- Assist in all major excisions as required.
- Maintain all logs for machinery and biopsies for manager sign off.
- Reinforce doctors'’ instructions regarding treatment, procedures and results
- Respond to patient and non-patient inquiries as necessary under provider direction
- Assist in scheduling appointments and patient check out
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MA is required
- Certified as a Medical Assistant required
- Dermatology experience required
- Mohs and Surgery experience highly preferred
