As a Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. You will lead a team of technicians and collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the manufacturing operations by providing technical expertise, leading process improvement initiatives, and ensuring the smooth execution of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st shift with varying start times of 6:00am or 7:00am; Monday - Friday
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency
- Quality audits
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
- Data analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the production line
- Order reviews
- Drawing reviews
- Order processing
- Manufacturing interface
- Request for quote
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- SMT Machine Programming and Support
U.S. Citizen REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Associates degree within a related engineering discipline. In lieu of degree, 4 years of technician experience may be considered.
- 3+ years Experience with production equipment programming, operating, maintenance (Mycronic, EKRA, Fuji, Panasonic)
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Six Sigma certification or experience with Lean methodologies
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accept responsibility for tasks; set clear objectives; and monitor results.
- Ability to create and deliver a vision that is aligned with company goals and business needs.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting.
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
- Understanding of manufacturing standards
