LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job description:
Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician at a key service center location in Conshohocken, PA. The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is troubleshooting CNC, Heat Treatment Furnaces, and Band Sawing equipment, while also ensuring that Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures are completed. The technician will be requested to support all PM documentation.
Key Functions:
- General responsibilities include repairing/maintaining CNC’s, Bandsaws, and Furnaces as identified by EDRO Specialty Steels LLC and follow/ensure safe work practices identified by government regulatory agencies (OSHA)
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures and checklists for all EDRO Specialty Steels LLC machinery and equipment including all saws, CNC machines, cranes, lifting devices, compressor systems, mobile equipment and all other equipment as necessary
- Schedule and coordinate subcontracted services such as crane inspections and repairs, mobile equipment repairs and services provided by OEM's
- Assist plant management activities associated with environmental, health and safety compliance to local, state and federal laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Experience with Mitsubishi, Okuma & FANUC controls
- Familiarity with Kasto & Friggi Saw machinery.
- Must pass the physical and occupational work assessment administered by our local health care provider (cost to be covered by EDRO Specialty Steels LLC)
- Must pass drug screen (cost to be covered by EDRO specialty Steels LLC)
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Keep work areas, tool storage and spare parts areas clean and organized
Education & Skill:
- High School Diploma or Skilled Trade Certification preferred.
- Demonstrate a high degree of industrial, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair knowledge.
- Knowledge of and experience with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems along with their associated testing devices.
- Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides Familiarity with CNC Machines, Bandsaws, Crane Operations, etc.
- Strong, motivated work ethic and ability to work well with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
