Shift: Day & Evening Shift
- Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Monday-Friday 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm
Overview:
Candidate should be a motivated team player with good attitude and possess highly developed organizational skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees and management. The facilities lead will be responsible for leading all the support technicians on daily and weekly assignments. Also supports both FC and DC. The right candidate will have proven leadership skills, the ability to multi-task in a manufacturing/distribution setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of support technicians for daily organization of common areas in the warehouse, around the perimeter of the campus buildings, smoker’s area, landscaping, trash and cardboard dumpster areas. This work crew will consist of 2 to 4 hourly support tech employees.
- The Facilities Lead will coordinate downtime with Ops for specific areas to clean and schedule with Facilities Sup.
- Engages Maintenance Supervisor as needed for Campus Project Coordination and Spare Parts Inventory.
- Closely monitors daily performance of production and/or facilities equipment. Will assist and consult w/ subordinates for cleaning issues and maintenance tech support needs.
- Trains and instructs, per SOPs and related documents, subordinates in support of maintenance and operation of equipment and all other job functions within assigned areas under the guidance of the Supervisor/Manager.
- Standardizes and develops SOP’s for the support tech position to support both FC and DC.
- Manage the daily routine of the contracted janitorial services.
- Be available for emergency callbacks and flexible toward the daily start schedule and overtime requirements, including holidays and plant shutdowns.
- Pursues and implements methods that will maximize production.
- Assist, Coordinate and Execute Capital Projects.
- Maintains min and max spare parts accurately.
- Standardize and Sustain Shop Organization and Housekeeping
- Partner with Ops teams in regard to Departmental housekeeping
- Maintain Campus Fleet list and State Requirements.
- Maintain Building and System Documents in preparation for Annual Risk Assessment.
- Maintain NA Network CAD and Drafts File.
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices for self and others throughout the campus.
Experience/General Skills:
- High school degree or GED required
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of distribution experience in an automated distribution or production environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment
- Accuracy in all areas is essential.

- Work well under pressure and time constraints
Computer Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, power point & Outlook)
- Able to Develop and interpret spreadsheets.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift 35lbs.
- Able to walk multiple miles a day.
