Lead Property Maintenance Technician

Full Time Lead Maintenance Technician – Fifth Street Properties

Full-time lead maintenance tech / handyman to perform general repairs & maintenance for a student housing company with multiple (30+) residential rental houses in Bethlehem, PA. Company is the most well-respected student rental provider in the area, offering the highest quality properties and service. All employees must be committed to upholding that reputation.

Responsibilities:

- Applicants must be available for 40 hours of work Monday through Friday. 9 AM - 6 PM.

- Will be considered an independent contractor.

- Must have knowledge and ability to assess, evaluate, and repair various maintenance issues in single family houses & apartment buildings.

- Responsible for responding to tenant maintenance requests & managing maintenance projects

- Must be proficient in all aspects of residential property management including the following:

· Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC maintenance and minor repairs

· Door, window & hardware repair

· Lawn care / Snow Removal

· Painting / Drywall repair / spackling

· Carpentry

· Minor roof repairs

· Flooring (Tile & Carpet)

· Concrete repairs

Applicants must be:

· able to provide exceptional service to tenants

· clean, respectful and presentable at all times

· reliable and on-time

· organized and able to plan ahead for jobs

· able to make cost effective decisions

· fully licensed; valid PA contractor license; fully insured

· proficient with email & tenant communication

· have valid driver’s license & clean driving record

· pass a background check & not have any history of drug or alcohol abuse

· provide references

Experience:

5+ years

Compensation:

- $20-30 / hour; depending on experience & skills; plus year-end bonus based on performance review

Company will provide access to:

- All tools required for jobs

- Maintenance van (E-150)

- Utility body pickup truck (F-250)

- Computer and email account
