Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our team. The Lead Installer will be responsible for delivering high-quality floor installations while also serving as a problem solver and mentor to associate installers. This role requires flexibility in installation times and a commitment to ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform floor and garage cabinet installations according to company standards and customer specifications
• Lead and supervise installation crew members, providing guidance and coaching as needed
• Ensure that installations are completed efficiently, timely, and to the highest quality standards
• Measure and assess the job area to determine the amount of flooring materials needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process
• Coordinate with customers to schedule installation appointments and accommodate their needs
• Train and onboard new associate installers, sharing best practices and techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Communicate effectively with the business development manager to ensure efficient job execution
• Document job and customer related information in a timely manner, e.g. outcomes, customer feedback, follow-up appointments, etc
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during and after installation
• Clean up the work area and dispose of waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in floor coating installation OR residential / commercial painting while leading a crew.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with clean driving record required to operate company vehicles.
• Reliability and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must have working mobile device with internet access to use business applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles. Resolve conflicts and complaints immediately.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional results.
• Ability to lift / maneuver heavy equipment and materials and perform physical tasks as required.
• Willingness to undergo training and stay updated on industry best practices.
• Must attend a one-time, week-long training; must be able to travel on domestic flight. Travel fees will be paid.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and ensure uniforms are clean and well-kept.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Preferred - experience in a leadership or supervisory role with a desire to mentor.
• Preferred - experience using swing unit and / or diamond grinder.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
