Summary/Objective
The Customer Service Representative and Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring that customer orders and requests are effectively and efficiently satisfied by converting POs into internal instructions, by managing the overall flow of orders, and by responding quickly and professionally. This position is also responsible for accurately invoicing. In addition, this role manages the receiving, organizing, staging, and shipping, and where appropriate, transporting of orders and materials,
Duties:
- Perform various warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment to move materials within the warehouse
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely
- Knowledge of AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures and best practices
- Experience working in an e-commerce or 3PL environment is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
