The Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for locating appropriate product using iOS Tablets, when applicable, picking required quantities and sizes (using counting/weighing scales), and packaging and preparing material for shipment. This position requires consistently high volume of productivity; with strong attention to detail to variances in product identification; ability to accurately understand and follow written specification; and follow customer requirements with trained knowledge of quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn, maintain, and apply accurate knowledge and understanding of SeyTec’s Operation work instructions, policies and procedures in all work practices and decisions.
- Drive forklift and/or order picker, when certified.
- Receive material from vendors and enter data into Pentagon ERP system.
- Pull or stock materials using iOS Tablet as required.
- Obtain cross-training to assist in other Warehouse functions, as needed.
- Count, bag, and label per warehouse/customer requirements.
- Package and prepare material for shipment.
- Utilize scale to weight and/or hand count product per warehouse/customer specifications.
- Utilize label printer to prepare labels as, needed.
- Return remaining product to proper location.
- Meet established standards for quality and productivity.
- Follow safety regulations in all work processes.

- Ability to be self-motivated to learn quickly and work independently, as trained; and to gain a good, practical working-knowledge of the department policies, procedures, and work instructions essential to the duties of the job; respond with urgency to "rush" orders and in a timely manner, as requested; and be proactive in the approach to your workload and business needs.
- Communicate frequently with department personnel and Manager; must have ability to communicate clearly and in a concise manner with external customers and vendors, as required.
- General supervision and instructions will be given for routine work and detailed instruction given for new activities or special assignment; must have the ability and willingness to accept and successfully fulfill any related assignments designated by Warehouse Manager, as required.
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed individual assignments and departmental goals and objectives accurately and efficiently, on time.
- Ability to drive forklift/order pickers efficiently, operate iOS devices, product scales, packaging, labeling, and shipping equipment and system with competency.
- Ability to perform basic math functions and proficient use of calculator.
- Must be able to lift and/or move inventory boxes and other objects weighing up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to solve basic and more complex problems following established policies and procedures; more difficult problems or challenges should be escalated to a senior member of the team or Manager for additional direction.
- Ability to read, write and speak concisely in English; with ability to understand technical product requirements.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent, forklift certification training and current forklift license, is preferred.
- Minimum of two years warehousing experience in an aerospace facility or combination of warehousing and training. Demonstrates ability to be alert and aware of warehouse safety issues and safeguards and applying safety standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and/or external customers. Ability to work well within a team environment and independently, as needed. Ability to be detailed oriented and perform basic research, if required.
