Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Inertial Measurement products. You will work with engineering leadership on managing data collection and processing, documenting product specifications and processes, and technical illustrations. You will help coordinate project planning and scheduling, act as a liaison between engineering groups, and provide data reporting for both internal and external customers.
Honeywell is hiring a Lead Engineering Associate that will report to the MEMS Sensors and IMU Senior Engineering Manager within Sensing, Guidance, and Navigation. Be part of a team that design and develop test procedures and standards for highly complex products. You will participate in the development and certification of environment test functionality across multiple products and applications. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business results. Use your strategic thinking and technical knowledge to lead laboratory improvement and engineering test and evaluation initiatives. Grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage equipment utilization, working with engineers and project leads to set priority and schedule testing accordingly.
Follow established test procedures.
Work with engineers to resolve any procedure or process issues.
Work with engineers to identify opportunities for product or process improvements.
Provide systems support and testing through product testing and evaluation.
Provide feedback and test results to Engineers and project leaders.
Experience with electro-mechanical testing

YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in mechanical testing or engineering test labs
WE VALUE
Associate degree in a technical discipline such as electronics, electro-mechanical or related area preferred.
Individuals who are self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and consistently take the initiative to get things done.
Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing.
Ability to create action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
