The Lead Developer will support our Index and Risk Technology team in providing oversight and direction to a team of developers in the design, development and implementation of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Work with functional specialists, operations/ business users to understand business processes and translate functional specifications into technical requirements.
• Expertise in Financial domain data. Fintech/Asset management/Wealth management/Banking/ Capital Markets data.
• Strong working experience in any of ETL tool stack with SCD's and its usage, developing data pipelines, trouble shoot the data pipelines
• Solid experience in DWH methodologies and practices, SQL, performance optimization of data pipelines.
• Database development experience (Tables, views, synonyms, sequence, triggers, table functions and procedures using SQL/PL SQL scripts)
• Design and develop scalable, reusable data models in DB in line with architectural standards.
• Develop data pipelines for integration projects and adhere to architecture standards and best practices.

Key behaviours and skills required to be successful in the role:

• Education & Work experience:
• 12+ years of direct development and support experience with Data Integration projects with performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines using ETL and data replication tools
• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or IT related field or equivalent IT related experience.
• Experience in understanding the existing data models and reuse with a better performance. (Advanced Modelling experience - Good to have)
• Experience working with Sustainable Investment Data
• Experience with optimization and tuning of DB views and stored procedures
• Data provisioning using various Techniques and External Tools.
• Knowledge of Analytical Privileges, Roles, and Authorizations
• Good communication, presentation and documentation skills
