The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead. NET/AWS Developerto serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting-edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the "team", drives continuous improvement, and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.
• Deep understanding and seasoned on Web UI development using Container frameworks
• Develop end to end design for the platform, solution delivery and execution and code quality.
• Application Performance Tuning industry best solution design
• Collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owner, product manager/owner, enterprise architecture and platform support teams to ensure delivery of production into Production.
• Working on Agile projects with CI/CD
• Work collaboratively with quality assurance engineer teams, DevOps to ensure all SDLC processes are adhered to.
• Assess opportunities for platform/application and process improvements.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
• Hands on Web and C#/ .Net development experience integrating multiple application platforms.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners.
• Application resiliency, scalability and performance design

Qualifications

• Overall experience (10+ years)
• .Net core (5+ years of experience)
• Developing micro services for deployment into AWS (2+ years)
• AWS Lambda or AWS EKS / ECS (1+ years)
• Event driven with SQS, SNS or any other messaging system (Kafka will be a good-to-have)
• DynamoDB, S3 good-to-have
• MS SQL server (5+ years of experience)
• Application designing (5+ years of experience)
• AWS basics (Good to have)
• Docker (good to have)
• Kubernetes (good to have)
• Shell scripts (good to have)
• Messaging queues (good to have)
