Responsibilities:
- Lead Daycare Teacherwill create and implement age-appropriate (6wks-14mo) lesson plans and activities for infants in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow
- Supervise and monitor infant's activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Lead Daycare Teacherwill diaper, feed, and provide other basic care tasks for infants and toddlers
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in infants
Qualifications:
- Lead Daycare Teachermust have previous experience working with infants in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other Lead Daycare Teachers and staff members
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with infants
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Skills:
- Preschool teaching experience
- First aid and CPR certification
- Babysitting or caregiving experience
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Behavior management techniques
- Experience working with students of various ages and abilities
