Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Daycare Teacher to join our toddler classroom. As a Assistant Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Duties for Assistant Daycare Teacher:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and behavior
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Organize and supervise outdoor playtime and other recreational activities
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures
Qualifications for Assistant Daycare Teacher
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Skills for Assistant Daycare Teacher:
- Toddler Classroom management
- Educate toddlers through engaging activities
- Childcare experience working with toddlers
- Toddler care, including diaper changing and potty training assistance
- Caregiving skills, including feeding, soothing, and comforting children
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and milestones
- Ability to create a stimulating classroom environment

Pay: $15.84 - $17.82 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
