Leidos currently has an opening for a Lead Data Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) drive Department-wide business reform by integrating transportation and financial processes at the transaction level to optimize financial management of the Transportation of Things that support the Department of Defense financial auditability requirements and closing identified auditability gaps. USTRANSCOM is seeking a multifaceted solution consisting of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities and Policy changes as well as the implementation of a commercial-off-the-shelf Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE).
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will have experience performing systems analysis, administration, and process analysis in a complex environment. The Lead Data Analyst is responsible for the successful execution of strategic data management. This position collaborates with JTMS Joint Program Office (JPO) and governance process owners to define and establish the overall management strategy and approach to master data management, maintenance, and quality control. The Lead Data Analyst will provide solutions for complex data issues, prioritization, analytics, system integrations and item master file management, act as liaison for data analysis and extraction for reporting to process partners, internal customers, and vendors. The Lead Data analysis’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
- Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
- Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
- Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.
- Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, operations research, or a related field.
- 10 years relevant experience in leading data analytics functions for large, complex organizations.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience with medium to large sized projects and experience in Lean Methodologies or Process Improvement Frameworks.
- Experience in master data management, data modeling, and data analytics with programs of a similar scope.
- Experience in transportation database management, Business Intelligence and related reporting tools, report writing, analytical review and system integrations.
- Experience and knowledge with Materials Management ERP systems including demand planning, forecasting, inventory and stock level management, replenishment, receiving, and materials resource planning strategies (MRP).
- Certification in a relevant area (Lean Green Belt, Program Management Professional, etc.).
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
