We're working hard to find a ‘results oriented’ leader to work alongside our leadership team in the creation of our Merchandising Department.

This is where you come in…

We’re looking for a buyer that’s passionate about our category and ready to make some changes! This person has retail experience, a people first mindset and a passion to tackle new projects as they arise. They have the primary responsibility for the procurement & liquidation of all inventory in our retail stores, including working directly with the CEO on product strategy and the expansion of our product mix!

  • As the business grows, we also encourage cross-functional transitions including store operations, marketing, human resources, e-commerce and technology.

This is what a successful team member does…

  • Manages all procurement – including seasonal assortment and transition – of the current portfolio and all categories. This includes, but is not limited to, closeout recommendations, closeout escalations, and product analysis.
  • Leads a team of associate buyers including, but not limited to, the division of labor for department, hiring & development, forecasting new store opening deliveries, etc.
  • Works director with operations on inventory management protocols, store walks, and all point of purchase destinations.
  • Manages the inflow and outflow of key product information within our ERP and/or Point of Sale Systems to ensure proper reconciliation in accounting and accurate reporting. From new item entry to price changes, you’ll own the entire process.
  • Organizes quarterly and annual vendor meetings, associated product meetings and decision making. This includes scheduling effective product reviews, running weekly meetings, and facilitating organized decision making for upcoming assortments.
  • Identifies category trends and opportunities, recommending in-season assortment action, and participating in competitive shopping and idea inspiring offsites
  • Collaborates and supports CEO with strategy building, assortment planning, product development, sampling, sourcing, purchasing, in store and online merchandising and marketing, store allocation, and in season assortment management
  • Informs and educates field teams around merchandising standards and best practices
  • Uses assortment mapping tools, PO system, and reports to help manage inventory flow, and ship windows/ETAs for large orders and commercial accounts.
  • Manages existing vendor relations and onboarding new vendors
  • Monitors inventory levels for online and store to ensure adequate stock to sales ratios are maintained
  • Works with Creative and Marketing teams on product packaging, signage, and customer facing product information; reviewing product launches in-store and online
  • Manages sample request and receipt process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
