The Lead Analyst, Specialty Pharmacy, Data Management role will be responsible for supporting Specialty Pharmacy data operations across therapeutic areas, enabling their use across the broader Janssen organization. The Lead Analyst, Specialty Pharmacy, Data Management role will lead logistics around data SP data RFPs, contracting, and CPC reviews and will drive the day-to-day operations and integration of Specialty Pharmacy data in downstream Janssen processes, which include, but are not limited to, the Patient E2E ecosystem and the use of Specialty Pharmacy data to supplement third-party syndicated data use for field operations.

The Lead Analyst, Specialty Pharmacy, Data Management role will work closely with stakeholders across PECS, and CS&O to gather requirements, align internal FMV, HCC, and CPC processes, and partner with external vendor aggregator to deliver data according to expected timelines and launch plans. The Lead Analyst will support SP data across all TAs - Oncology, Immunology, PAH, Neuroscience. The Lead Analyst, Specialty Pharmacy, Data Management will also coordinate with business partners from CS&O (e.g. Sales Operations, Commercial Insights & Strategy, and Advanced Analytics) as well as our Sales and Marketing teams to understand the priorities and key business questions germane to each therapeutic area (TA) - so as to best meet each TA's data needs.

Responsibilities:

Manage Operational Processes to Onboard Specialty Pharmacy Data

• Partner with Data stewards, Pharmacy solutions, and PECS to gather data requirement per brand per SP

• Lead internal contracting approval workstreams (CMV, HCC, Offer Dev) in successfully purchase and onboard Specialty Pharmacy data purchases

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business partners to understand priorities and business needs - to ensure we continue to purchase the right data to inform business plans and strategies

• Work across teams to drive requirements for vendor aggregator to ensure data completeness and readiness

Provide Specialty Pharmacy Data Quality Assurance

• Understand Janssen commercial Specialty Pharmacy data and functional requirements to enable and support data engineering pipelines

• Understand the data aggregation and data integration processes in order to properly identify and resolve data issues

• Monitor and track weekly physician-level and patient-level data deliveries to ensure data quality and consistency

Innovate and Lead

• Directly and proactively communicate with our partners and key stakeholders

• Provide thought leadership by researching best practices and identifying ways to streamline and improve existing processes

• Proactively communicate quality reports, and issues to CIS and brand stakeholders while working to resolve issues with priority.

• Develop scalable processes and tools to monitor and ensure data accuracyRequirements:

• A minimum 3 years related professional experience
• Strong background and experience in the healthcare/life sciences field
• Strong analytical mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong problem-solving experience
• Proven experience working across diverse stakeholder groups managing conflicting priorities
• Experienced with data visualization and proficient with the associated data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in SQL, R, Python, SAS, Dataiku or similar programming languages/analytical tools
• Experience writing, negotiating contracts, especially for data and data services
• Experience working with Specialty Pharmacy data flow and data structure

Preferred:

• Business and data analysis skills with a focus on commercial pharmaceutical operations is highly preferred
• Leverages company and franchise knowledge to optimize business results through responsiveness and forward-thinking solutions
• Knowledge of commercial Life Sciences data sets (NPP, DDD, Xponent, Plantrak, SPP)
• Drives the actions of others by applying a variety of influencing, communication, and leadership techniques
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively organize and prioritize, and efficiently utilize resources within a dynamic environment

The base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $141,450. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
