RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Answers Lawyer Referral Service calls and obtains information from the caller to make an appropriate referral. For callers LRS cannot assist suggest and track alternatives.
- Process Lawyer Referral Services insurance notifications
- Assist with updating and maintaining attorney database profiles.
- Return calls, emails for referrals when necessary.
- Assist with LRS renewal notices via data entry, calls and email correspondence.
- Assist with back-up receptionist responsibilities if needed. Distribute mail if needed.
- Assist in processing ADR certification renewals and new ADR certification applications.
- Assist with mail -outs for LRS and ADR clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent; ability to type at least 40wpm; Proficient in MS Office; strong organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Assertive; excellent analytical skills to include ability to discern area of legal practice related to caller’s problems; at least three years’ experience working with the public in person and over the telephone; and experience in office administration.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time and occasionally move around inside the office to access filing cabinets, office equipment and meet with staff.
