SalaryResponsibilities: - Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and guest laundry. - Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines. - Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. - Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens. - Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies and notifying the supervisor when replenishment is needed. - Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any guest inquiries or concerns regarding laundry services. Requirements: - Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred. - Knowledge of dry cleaning and laundering techniques. - Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. - Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control of laundered items. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds). - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
