Laundry Attendant (Part Time)

This is a part-time position with weekend shifts. There is a possibility to cover other shifts. This role may also grow into a full-time position.

Laundry Attendants assist our customers in obtaining a Laundry Card, explaining the washer and dryer functions, processing wash & fold orders, and maintaining a very clean store. We are open daily from 7am to 8pm with closing shifts occasionally ending by 9pm. Closing and weekend availability is essential. We are willing to work with school schedules and/or other jobs.

Down-time in this role is limited as Laundry Attendants are expected to keep the Laundromat impeccably clean in a proactive manner. We want to maintain a bright and clean space for our customers to spend time in. Laundry Attendants will also be responsible for processing Wash & Fold orders in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner and provide exceptional customer service.

2. Assist customers with obtaining a laundry card and using washers and dryers.

3. Wash, dry, and fold laundry as instructed. On busy days we may take in and process 3-500 lbs. of laundry. Also, you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

4. Maintain an extremely clean Laundromat. This includes cleaning counters/furniture/bathrooms/floors/laundry equipment/etc.

5. Use the POS system to ring up orders and product sales and accurately handle and report cash.

6. Work independently and prioritize work. Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't wait for direction.

Compensation: $16.50-$18.50/hr.
