Type: On-site Monday through Friday 

MUST live close to Houston TX 77054 (No re-location)

Job Description: QC Microbiology

Three (3) to Five (5) years applicable experience in the pharmaceutical field or a laboratory environment, a part of Quality Control Microbiology group preferred. Experience conducting kinetic chromogenic endotoxin assays preferred. Demonstrated excellent written/verbal/interpersonal/communication and ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Experience with laboratory requirements and equipment. BS in Science (Microbiology preferred). Fluent in English. Perform bioburden testing as part of routine monitoring program/special projects. Perform environmental monitoring as part of routine monitoring program/special projects. Perform endotoxin testing as part of routine monitoring program. Perform biological indicator testing as part of annual requalification's. Identify microorganism isolates recovered through characterization, gram stain, fungal stain, or through use of the Biolog Microorganism Identification system. Support laboratory team and daily microbiology laboratory operations, including lab organization/cleaning, routine equipment maintenance, supply inventory, media growth promotion etc.
