At LCRA, we are seeking a Laboratory Account Manager! Join an outstanding environmental laboratory team that operates in a high-production facility receiving water quality samples from across the state! As part of the LCRA laboratory, this role is suited for those who enjoy working directly with internal and external customers by responding to their sampling and analysis requests, reviewing data reports, performing marketing efforts, setting up projects, reviewing customer requirements, and providing customer deliverables. You will work directly with the Client Services team daily, and at times cross-train and provide support with sample receipts, sample logins, sample checks, and account collections. You will be primarily working on independent tasks and projects, performing similar duties every day, and attention to detail is essential while keeping the overall vision in focus. This role is an integral part of the laboratory operations and LCRA’s mission, “To improve the quality of life of the Texans we serve through water stewardship, energy, and community service.”.
You will be trusted to:
- Review sample login information
- Review data result deliverables
- Provide sample and analytical quotes to customers
- Schedule sample collection kit shipments
- Review customer reporting requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain marketing via phone, email, and live events
You qualify with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, environmental science, physical sciences, or engineering, plus one year of customer and/or account services in a commercial laboratory environment or other relevant experience.
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree(s) in the above disciplines may each be substituted per LCRA guidelines.
- Driver’s license
