Summary - Lab Technician
The Lab Technician will perform coating preparation, application, digital printing, and evaluation of various coating systems. Responsibilities may include performing technical evaluations and reporting test results. The position provides professional support for running evaluations, experiments, and display panels.
Job Duties:
-This is an easy non-complicated position. Workers will need to pay attention to detail because they will examine panels after they are coated.
-Perform laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids on the panels
-Perform laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards.
-Determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition.
-Set up, readjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
-High school diploma or GED is required with some experience working in a chemical laboratory
Requirements:
* Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint * Proficient at Basic Math skills * Introductory knowledge of chemistry * Good written and Oral Communication Skills * Performs basic paint testing processes * Maintains a clean work area * Basic understanding of laboratory practices and safety
-This temp for 6-9 months.
-Schedule - Monday-Friday from 7:30 am- 4:30 pm Start and end times can be flexible when trained.
-Company provides all PPE and safety shoes.
-Interviews will be conducted in person
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Must be able to see color
