Purdance K-Pop Instructor Hiring Description
Purdance Studio is currently looking for K-Pop instructors who have been trained in K-Pop, along with other styles and have experience in teaching K-Pop dance. Individuals must be highly motivated and prepared to teach class with a clear plan .They must be able to oversee, and enhance the K-POP program/class performances, and substitute classes when needed. They must be a team player, and be able to teach both children and adult program classes.
Requirements :
- 2-3 years of formal dance training such as hip hop, contemporary, ballet and other
- 1 year of dance studio teaching or consistent and progressive class teaching experience is a plus
- 1-2 Years of Teaching dance to Children or Adults
- Available for substitution for other classes
- Professionalism and Pro-active mindset
- Trained in different generes other than K-pop along
- Available to teach 2-3 days a week
- Commute in close proximity of Purdance Studio in San Jose
Responsibilities :
- Teach dance class(es) for children, teens or adults.
- Create appropriate curriculum for all classes.
- Assist in creation of new classes
- Work together as a team with other team members
- Oversee and Coach students' dance performance
- Prepare studnets for show cases, events or productiosn
- Additional duties as required for the dance program
- Supervising students during events and performance
