SalaryCapitol Dance Company( CDC) is a family-owned dance studio that has been in business since 1978. We believe in creating a positive and creative environment for our dancers, parents, and staff! We are expanding our team and currently hiring dance teachers for the 2024/2025 dance year. Classes will begin in early August.
We are looking for passionate, responsible, and collaborative teachers that enjoy working with kids. We are currently focused on hiring teachers in all styles of dance.
Roles
- Commitment to teaching weekly class/classes from August 2024- June 2025.
- Collaborate with CDC Manager on class curriculum and lesson plan.
- Choreograph short holiday class dance for December showcase.
- Choreograph classes dancers for summer performance in June 2025.
Responsibilities
- Train and assist dancers in class.
- Ensure the supervision of students during class.
- Provide a positive and welcoming classroom environment for all dancers.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and management on select projects.
- Take student attendance and maintain attendance records.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $70.00 per hour
