Position Summary:
This position will have the opportunity to master the Quality Café and Krispy Krunchy Program. This experience will create a core support function for our prepared foods offerings
Manage all areas of the food service kitchen, located inside a Quality Dairy Convenience Store to maximize customer
satisfaction and profitability. Oversee the training and work performed by other Quality Dairy food service employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maximize Customer Satisfaction and Sales Improvement by delivering 'Customer Service +1'.
• Provide quick, friendly service, with a welcoming smile.
• Ensure staff is customer service focused.
• Create a pleasant and positive work environment.
• Handle customer's questions, complaints, and concerns quickly and appropriately.
• Generate, monitor, and adjust menu item build to's by day part to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Ensure the use of Quality Dairy's Standard Operating Procedures to provide a high quality and consistent product to the
customer.
Oversee the Work of Food Service Representatives
• Treat all Associates fairly and consistently.
• Train and develop new Associates and retrain existing Associates to improve individual and store performance to ensure
compliance with Quality Dairy's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prioritize duties, manage time of self and shift personnel through delegation and follow-up of duties for the other
shifts through a shift communication hand-off process. - Communicate shift activities or concerns to Quality Dairy Store Manager, Shift Managers, and Fresh Food Category Manager.
• Maintain displays, marketing, and product presentation in accordance with Quality Dairy's policies. - Willing to work flexible hours when needed and ability to travel between locations.
- Controlling Controllables: Maintaining Food Cost Numbers, Waste Numbers, Labor Numbers
- Generate Profit and Loss information through reporting
- Maintain/Improve customer perception through standards.
Duties and Operations:
- Ensure product availability for customers, including prompt fulfillment of on-demand orders.
• Ensure efficient and effective ordering and inventory management practices are being followed.
• Follow vendor check-in procedures, including communication of any variances to the Quality Dairy Store Manager.
• Perform stocking, cleaning, and food preparation.
• Perform shift opening or closing procedures.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on all food service equipment, contacting store management or maintenance with
concerns.
Safety and Security:
- Complete Serve Safe Certification and manage a food safety program to ensure strict adherence to local health codes.
• Ensure internal and external store areas are kept free of safety hazards.
• Correct and report any safety or security violations, concerns, etc. to Quality Dairy store management.
Personal Conduct:
- Model professional and appropriate behaviors for customers and fellow staff members.
• Follow through on assigned tasks and demonstrate timeliness in completion.
• Maintain confidentiality of store personnel and operations.
• Follow and enforce all policies: dress code, attendance, food safety, etc.
Relationships:
Quality Dairy Store Manager:
- Immediate Supervisor
• Consult regarding policy and procedures, problems, questions - Keep informed of changes and activities in store, company, and competition
• Communicate regarding store Associates; training progress/deficiencies, successes, or concerns
• Exchange ideas
District Supervisor
- Inform of any problems or questions, if unable to reach Store Manager
- Inform of questions/problems which were not resolved by Store Manager
- Exchange ideas
Department Heads
- Communicate as needed through the chain of command, ensuring effective, efficient operations of Quality Dairy's food service department.
Essential Skills, Abilities, and Physical Demands:
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers and other store Associates
• Ability to work without close supervision

• Judgment and decision making to handle questions or problems relating to people, equipment, products, etc.
• Ability to read, follow and implement policies, procedures, and programs
• Awareness of merchandising, safety/security and personnel issues which need attention
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, personalities, and shifts
• Work flexible hours, mostly early mornings
• Handle multiple priorities quickly and effectively
• Standing without sitting for 6-10 hour shifts (sitting only for a break of up to 20 minutes)
• Stooping/kneeling to floor level, climbing, bending, and stretching above chest level
• Lifting/moving up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
• Lift and organize cases of product and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds one or more times per shift
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of onsite training with designated Trainer from Quality Dairy
• Serve Safe Certification within 60 days
