CENTRE STREET TAP HOUSE is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to join our team! Your role is to effectively supervise and manage all kitchen operations; optimizing profits by controlling labor & food costs, increase sales with quality and accurately prepared food all while leading your team by example.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of food service staff
- Daily decision-making for the overall benefit of the business
- Monitor quality of products and services produced
- Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency and all stations are staffed properly
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain health standards for Kalamazoo County and for raw and finished products
- Daily training and development of hourly team members
Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous experience in food service or other related fields
- Knowledge of common food safety practices
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
