Blacksburg Wine Lab is an innovative wine bar in Blacksburg, VA. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, educational experience centered around exceptional wines and the freshest food available.
We are looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our staff and help create delicious meals along with a positive experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and be able to follow instructions accurately. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, assembling dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and helping with other tasks as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the culinary field.
Responsibilities:
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Prepare food items in accordance with company recipes and standards.
- Monitor food quality and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with other team members.
- Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
