Responsibilities:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager. Prepare sandwich toppings in accordance with recipes and quality standards.

- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner

- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils

- Stock and rotate food supplies as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with food orders and addressing customer inquiries

Experience:

- Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or kitchen environment is preferred

- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Kitchen Hours
- Monday/Tuesday Closed

- Wednesday 5-9

-Thursday 5-10

-Friday 4-10:30pm

- Saturday 11am-9pm

- Sunday 11am-3pm

We’re looking for a hard-working individual who can confidently work both alone in the truck & with a team in a fast-paced, small space, cooking on a panini press & fryer while providing excellent customer service.

If you are dedicated, reliable, and have a love for creating delicious dishes, we would love to hear from you.

This position is for the Kitchen at Sage Bird Ciderworks located in a food truck in the parking lot. You will experience their events & team while working in the food truck! While you might work alone in the truck on non-event shifts, you will have the community of the Sage Bird bartenders to have some added community!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.80 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
