This approach includes both crisis interventions, such as emergency shelter and family reunification services, as well as ongoing support to build family resiliency, including counseling, education, and parenting classes. In 2020 alone, Child Crisis Arizona served over 6,000 children and families through various programs and services.

Pay Rate : 17.50 per Hour

Schedule : Sunday - Thursday 8:00am - 1:00pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receiving food from caterer and checking temperatures.
• Removing various food items from packaging.
• Measuring food into bowls to ensure appropriate portions.
• Preparing carts for each classroom for each meal.
• Washing dishes.
• Delivers meals to agency programs via company vehicle
• Performing basic cleaning duties in the kitchen.
• Practicing health and safety in the kitchen.
• Assist Cook with any CACFP duties.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings and training sessions as appropriate.
• Adheres to the agency confidentiality agreement.
• Adheres to agency safety practices.
• Adheres to agency policies and procedures.
• Models Center’s expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler Card upon hire.
• Must possess valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain one prior to employment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean driving record
