Assistant Kitchen Manager

Crust Simply Italian is looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen

• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards

• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs

• Help with menu development and execution of culinary initiatives

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

• Support the Kitchen Manager in training and developing kitchen staff

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in a managerial capacity

• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and culinary techniques

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
