The impact of Child Crisis Arizona's work is immeasurable. By joining our team, you would provide critical support and interventions to families in need, helping to break the cycle of abuse and neglect and create strong and successful families. This approach includes both crisis interventions, such as emergency shelter and family reunification services, as well as ongoing support to build family resiliency, including counseling, education, and parenting classes. In 2020 alone, Child Crisis Arizona served over 6,000 children and families through various programs and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receiving food from caterer and checking temperatures.
- Removing various food items from packaging.
- Measuring food into bowls to ensure appropriate portions.
- Preparing carts for each classroom for each meal.
- Washing dishes.
- Performing basic cleaning duties in the kitchen.
- Practicing health and safety in the kitchen.
- Assist Cook with any CACFP duties.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and training sessions as appropriate.
- Adheres to the agency confidentiality agreement.
- Adheres to agency safety practices.
- Adheres to agency policies and procedures.
- Models Center's expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card immediately upon hire (if there are any uncertainties whether an applicant may have to go through an appeal process: they are encouraged to complete that process prior to applying, as an invalid card will result in termination of employment).
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must also be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler Card upon hire.
