The Goodkind Group a leading hospitality agency located in midtown NYC. We are seeking an Event Kitchen Assistant for our client an Event and Catering company. As part of this role, you’ll be accountable for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods in accordance with event recipes and standards. The sorts of events you can expect to work on include cocktail receptions, seated dinners, breakfast and lunch buffets, and private dining. Weddings and other large events are also part of the mix.
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $22=$25ph. If you have 2-3 years of related off-premises catering/cook experience, exceptional knife skills, and expertise in all facets of cooking, this could be a great prospect for you!
The job also requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings when needed. In addition, you’ll need to meet physical demands like extended periods of standing and lifting up to 30+ pounds. A culinary degree is preferred, but not required..
