Figure Eight Island Yacht Club Summer Camp is seeking Camp Counselors for the summer of 2024. Camp dates are June 17th - July 26th. As a Camp Counselor, you will be leading a group of children in all camp activities and assisting the camp director in making a summer that is memorable for all campers.

As a Camp Counselor, you will be leading a group of children in all camp activities and assisting the camp director in making a summer that is memorable for all campers.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have experience and a love of working with children
- Be fun, personable, and caring when working with children
- Participate in some night activities during the week and weekends (kids parties/kids bingo)
- Have the ability to be engaged with the children and make sure that they are safe at all times
- Have a flexible schedule
- Must be willing and able to work outside
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Follow a schedule of daily activities
- Setting up and cleaning up of necessary supplies
- Greeting families and campers upon arrival in a fun and enthusiastic way
- Participate in all camp activities
- Monitor interactions between campers
Salary: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Some Saturday events
