We are hiring for our afterschool program in Fayetteville. During the summer this position will transition into our Summer Camp and front desk associate. In this position you will connect and lead students through activities daily that align with our mission of fun, empowerment and growth. You will be responsible for daily engaging activities, snack time, study time and risk management. In this position you will build relationships with school administration, parents, students, fellow team members, and manage the after-school program. When working as front desk assistant you will be responsible for opening facility, calling back and taking potential client information, giving walk throughs of the facility and cleaning.

Essential Functions
· Develops and leads program activities primarily indoors but occasionally outdoors (e.g. games, art, music, crafts etc.) for the purpose of addressing the individual and/or group interests of children.
· Evaluates situations (e.g. disciplinary problems, hazardous conditions, etc.) for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or facilitating resolution.
· Facilitates the development of After School Programs (e.g. materials, activities, events, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring quality programs and resources.
. Proactive in program and activity development
· Interacts with children in various activities (e.g. snack time, group or individual play, etc.) for the purpose of providing for a safe, positive and fun environment.
· Maintains various records and files (e.g. enrollment, daily sign in/out log etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, meeting operational requirements and ensuring accurate documentation as required.
· Participates in various meetings (e.g. staff development, staff meetings, etc.) for the purpose of sharing information and/or improving one's skill/knowledge.
· Sets up after-school program (e.g. opens/ closes school, games, art projects, etc.) for the purpose of providing for adequate preparation for activities.
· Cleans work areas (e.g. classroom, storage, work tables, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining an orderly environment
Other Functions
· Administers first aid to children as may be required for the purpose of meeting immediate health care needs.
· Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
Qualifications

· Able to pass state and federal background checks
· Able to obtain First Aid/CPR Certification

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
