Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for building and developing strong business relationships with customers and implementing strategies in key markets to achieve growth objectives. Generating leads and meeting sales goals for new profitable regional and local customers. Duties will include sales presentations and equipment demonstration, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.

  • Develop a growth strategy with each customer within assigned Book of Business to increase volume, revenue, and profitability aligning with Primo Water Strategic Annual Business Plan (ABP)
  • Leverage Sales System to manage pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities to achieve equipment placement targets. Expand and retain assigned Book of Business
  • Develop, identify, and close new potential markets for selling products, developing new profit and revenue streams, and developing lists of potential prospects.
  • Keep informed of upcoming bids and contract renewals and gather and provide all necessary information for participating in the bid process and negotiating contracts.
  • Research and evaluate markets to identify viable opportunities to expand and grow Refill and Exchange equipment placements.
  • Contact key HQ and field customers to develop and foster collaborative, financially sound working relationships. Deliver presentations and conduct strategy sessions to create an annual operating plan for key customers. Initiate course corrections as needed to achieve results.
  • Build relationships with functional teams within Primo (frontline operations, supply chain, key customer care, legal) to manage Service and First Delivery Orders.
  • Prepare and conduct customer presentations to secure profitable business.
  • Manage customer Accounts Receivable to ensure payment terms (net 30)
  • Salesforce CRM utilization and maintenance
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience prospecting and calling on local and regional businesses across a variety of business segments and industries such as Retail, Commercial and Manufacturing.
  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience selling services to large entities and understanding of the sales process obtaining new customers.
  • Knowledge and experience in profit/loss management. Proven track record with demonstrated ability to exceed goals.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing key HQ and field relationships, volume revenue and margin.
  • Ability to analyze and utilize research data to create persuasive, creative fact-based selling presentations to new customers.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with potential new customer. Ability to develop internal partnerships with cross functional groups within Primo Water
  • Computer competency to include excel, word and power point. Use of these skills to develop internal and external presentations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Field based position which requires a minimum of heavy travel to customer locations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle change management, workload, and deadlines.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets
