What You'll Do:
Responsible for interpreting U.S. GAAP accounting standards and providing recommendations as they relate to the accounting and financial reporting treatment, including internal control considerations.
Oversees month-end close process surrounding consolidations of international operations, ensuring close deadlines are met, and alerting senior management of potential issues in a timely manner.
Have in-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficiency in accounting research
Requires frequent travel by automobile and/or air 25 - 35% of the time (restrictions may apply)
Partner with members of accounting team at warehouses to bridge the local accounting treatments to U.S. GAAP on an as needed basis (e.g., ASC 842 Leases and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition).
Assist with form 10-Q and 10-K preparation by drafting technical matter specific disclosures and reviewing designated footnote disclosures.

What Experience You Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred; CPA path required.
• 2+ years of experience supervising a team of individuals required.
• 5+ years of related accounting experience, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), business combinations (ASC 805), and segments (ASC 280).
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
What Could Set You Apart:
• SAP experience preferred; BPC or Oracle FCCS experience preferred.
• Experience working with data analysis tools, such as Alteryx preferred.
• 2+ years of Big 4 or Tier 2 public accounting audit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of national geography a plus
