Junior Project Manager

Role: Junior Project Manager
Location: Remote or Onsite in Foster City, CA
Type: Contract
Length: Long term rolling contract

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, science, engineering, or related).
• 2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry with a focus on PLM
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a workload efficiently.
• Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• SAP Material Master Processes familiarity is a plus

• Mastery of MS Office suite specifically MS Excel / MS Word
• Excellent MS PowerPoint Presentation skills
• Excellent with MS Sharepoint
• Excellent with MS Outlook (email writing + meeting invitations etc.)

1. Project Support
   • Collaborate with senior Project Managers to support projects from initiation to closure.
   • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
   • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Collect, analyze, and present data related to projects.
   • Create dashboards and reports using analytical and business intelligence tools to provide insights for decision-making.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Identify and engage critical stakeholders in the projects.
   • Assist in drafting communication plans and reports to inform stakeholders of project progress.
4. Process Improvement:
   • Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management processes and guidelines.
   • Assist in creating process maps, work instructions, and training materials for project teams.
5. Project Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, emphasis on meeting minutes, action items, and status updates.
6. Ad Hoc Projects:
   • Support projects, sub-workstreams, and departmental processes with increased complexity as assigned.
   • Ensure all projects adhere to established timelines and align with the business priorities.

The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
