**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
At ACT1, our people make the difference. As the Junior Procurement Support Specialist, you will be trusted to support the day-to-day contract award and management activities.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Prepare solicitations for assigned requirements. Solicitations include RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, RFTOP.
- Ensure evaluation factors, instructions to offerors, and SOW/SOO/PWS are complete and crosswalk with each other.
- Assist in development of a pricing methodology for solicitations.
- Prepare source selection and award decision documentation.
- Include appropriate FAR and agency clauses and applicable terms and conditions in the solicitation and subsequent award.
- Ensure packages are reviewed and cleared in accordance with (IAW) review policy guidelines and submitted for award IAW specified PALT.
Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- A minimum of three (3) years federal contracting experience required.
- BA/BS degree required. 5 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Successfully perform and manage multiple Procurement Support functions and tasks is required.
- Have knowledge of government and DHS contracting process/policies.
- Able to independent research and analyze contract and financial data.
- Prior experience using the PRISM contract writing system and Federal Financial Management System (FFMS) is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active Public Trust and DHS Suitability is required.
