Junior Event Manager

Fiore Rosso is upscale Italian restaurant locate in the heart of Bryn Mawr. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Event Manager to join our team. As a Junior Event Manager, you will assist in planning various events, ensuring their success from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the event industry and eager to learn and grow in a upscale / fine dining environment.

Duties:

· Act as a brand ambassador, consistently representing Fiore Rosso to potential guests and fostering meaningful relationships.

· Collaborate closely with the General Manager to contribute to the determination of quarterly and yearly sales goals and budgets.

· Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with both new and existing clients on behalf of Fiore Rosso.

· Adhere to Fiore Rosso's special event guidelines, booking events, and maintaining meticulous records of sales activities.

· Generate leads for future sales through community engagement, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to goodwill.

· Manage guest inquiries related to event bookings, availability, food and beverage packages, deposits, and cancellation policies using Triple Seat software.

· Conduct timely follow-ups with internal and external requests and prepare and issue client proposal letters, banquet contracts, and thank-you letters.

· Conduct off-site activities, including sales calls, meetings, and public relations efforts to enhance the restaurant's outreach.

· Collaborate closely with Fiore Rosso's General Managers and Executive Chef to ensure seamless event execution.

· Submit weekly sales activity reports to General Management, providing insights into progress and contributions to the overall success of Fiore Rosso's events.

To excel in this role, the following skills are essential:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Previous experience in catering or events management is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to upsell services or products.
- Familiarity with market trends and the ability to incorporate them into event planning.
- Basic understanding of event marketing strategies.
- Experience working with hotels or other event venues is a plus.
