Overview:
As a Junior Event Assistant, you will be an integral part of our event management team, providing essential support in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. Responsibilities:
- Assist in Event Planning: Work closely with senior event planners to assist in the conceptualization, planning, and coordination of events.
- Vendor Management: Help identify, communicate with, and coordinate vendors such as caterers, decorators, audiovisual technicians, and others.
- Logistics Support: Provide logistical support, including transportation coordination, lodging arrangements, and on-site setup and breakdown.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as creating and managing event schedules, maintaining databases, and preparing event materials.
- On-Site Assistance: Provide on-site support during events, including registration assistance, directing attendees, and handling any unforeseen issues that may arise.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Assist in conducting post-event evaluations to gather feedback and assess event success, contributing to the improvement of future events.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members, vendors, and event attendees.
