Junior Estimator - Electrical Contractor

We have a current opening for a Junior Estimator at our Sacramento, CA office.

The Junior Estimator will report directly to the Chief Estimator and assist with cost estimates and resource requirements for electrical construction projects.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

• Assist with analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, etc., to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects
• Calculate various data quantity take-offs for data entry into computer estimating system
• Participate in preparing and organizing bid packages
• Assist with "hand off" to project management team after project is awarded

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalen
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

Salary Range:

• $20/hour - $22/hour
• Note: This is an houly/non-exempt position.
