Junior Data Analyst Job Description
Purpose
The Junior Data Analyst will help design, develop, and maintain data reporting solutions for the payment applications. They will perform data research/analysis for various projects ranging from client-specific to enterprise-wide. They will also ensure all databases are running at peak performance.
Duties
- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and stored procedures
- Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements
- Generating reports from multiple systems
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports
- Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems
- Collaborate with others to find solutions
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- New or recent graduates preferred
- 2+ years of work experience with SQL
- Experience using SQL stored procedures and advanced query techniques
- Strong work ethic, high integrity, and respect for internal and external clients
- Ability to work independently and is a self-starter
- Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
