Job Summary:

 We are actively seeking a motivated individual, including recent graduates, for the role of a Junior Controller for thyssenkrupp nucera. The Junior Controller will have a primary focus on management accounting, cash flow forecasting, project controlling, and will actively support the introduction of a new ERP system. 

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and analysis of management reports, offering insights into business performance, trends, and project financials.
• Collaborate with department heads on project budgeting, rolling forecasting, and variance analyses, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
• Oversee project controlling activities, monitoring costs, revenue recognition, and project profitability.
• Actively support the introduction of a new ERP system, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring a smooth transition.
• Create financial models and tools to support the organization's operations and growth.
• Work closely with project managers and teams to ensure financial data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of management accounting systems and processes.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for resource allocation, project performance improvement, accurate cash flow forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance, project success, and ERP system effectiveness.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in an accounting position (could also be from Internship or Co-op)
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles, project controlling and financial analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with project management tools and ERP systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on strategic thinking.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams, presenting financial information, supporting ERP implementation, and explaining financial models.
