Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for warehouse inventory accuracy, VMI suppliers' purchase orders, and miscellaneous reacquisition purchase orders.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment
- Monitors inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provides notification to supervisor or manager
- Assists in purchasing materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization
- Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance. Has overall responsibility for receiving
- Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role
- Entry receives, validates, and updates data
- Operates data entry devices to input records, lists or other data points into an electronic format
- Maintains complete paperwork
- May perform some related clerical duties
- Needs to be computer (ERP) capable
- May require a certification to operate equipment

Technical Job Requirements:
- Basic PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Work experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience picking and packing merchandise
- Current forklift certification or experience
