Junior Accounting Consultant

Telecommute: This is a 100% Virtual / Remote work environment.

Salary Range: $40k – $50k per year base + bonus opportunities
General Overview:

• Provide support to our client’s accounting and finance department in a variety of functions
• Weekly tasks not limited to reconciliations, data entry, cash flow reporting, general journal entries, data import from various systems
• Build long-term relationships with our clients and become part of their operational team

Duties/Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, our Junior Consultants are expected to:

• Stay abreast of any applications that are linked to our systems; internal and client systems
• Understand how to customize reports within QBES
• Understand KPI reporting and be able to explain and 'tell the story' for KPIs that you are responsible for maintaining
• Maintain accurate balances at all times within client data files
• Accurately prepare necessary reporting and tie-outs to all data you are responsible for
• Consistently meet internal reporting deadlines
• Maintain and organize our digital filing system for your area of responsibility
• Serve as point of contact for clients
• Work with executives on time-sensitive and confidential projects

• Ability to recognize gaps in a work process and bring up suggestions for change
• Possess integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

• Ability to think, plan, and manage time effectively
• Possess a desire to learn technologies and help implement solutions from those learnings

Preferred skills, experience, and knowledge:

• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to develop a trusted working relationship with their team
• 3-5 years related experience in a Staff Accountant role

This is a fully remote role. However, you must reside in one of the following states:
