AddressJunior Staff Accountant- ONSITE
Our client is looking to add a motivated full-time Jr. Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of general accounting experience to their team. This unique opportunity will provide experience in a wide range of accounting functions and will give the right candidate the opportunity to learn the company's business from the ground floor up. This role requires being onsite in East Windsor, CT 5 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following.
Responsibilities:
Review and enter cash receipts and charge journals.
GL preparation, reporting and monthly close.
Daily bank processing (Deposits and positive pay files)
Back up for accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
Support the Senior Staff Accountant in the analysis of the general ledger account.
Problem solves issues that arise with accounting.
Assist with other auction related tasks as needed.
Support the CFO in implementing process improvements.
Requirements
BS in Accounting - advanced degree
1-3 years of general accounting experience
Intermediate or above knowledge skills in Excel
Knowledge of AP/AR analysis
Able to manage multiple projects.
Possess demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work extended hours as needed.
